Meiko Miniatures

Hace un par de meses que no muestro nada, y esto es porque estoy colaborando con Meiko Models marca de proxis para Blood Bowl. Ahora os muestro las primeras que he pintado para ellos y que han salido bajo campaña de mecenazgo desde hace un par de semanas. Podéis ver y participar en la campaña aquí. Todas las figuras han sido esculpidas por Fran Lopez aka Franarcilla. Pintadas con acrílicos nivel tabletop. ¡Espero que os gusten!

From a couple of months i did not show anything it has been because i'm painting for Meiko Models, brond who does proxis for Blood Bowl. Now i can show you some of the minis i've painted for them, which are in a indiegogo campaign that was launched a few weeks ago. Here you can see and collaborate. All the figures had been sculpted by Fran Lopez aka Franarcilla. Painted in acrylics in a tabletop level. Hope you like them!

Hace unos días un compañero de afición australiano me comento que iba a iniciar un proyecto de una web para recopilar tutoriales y obras de distintos autores. Desde el primer momento me pareció una magnifica iniciativa y participe sin dudar. Aunque hace poco tiempo que esto esta on-line ya tienen a varios artistas y multitud de interesantes artículos cuyo numero va en aumento. También hay un foro para que se pueda participar. ¡No perdáis de vista esta web porque en mi opinión va a dar mucho de que hablar en un futuro próximo!

Some days ago an australian hobby mate told m that he is gonna beggin a project of a web to have several tutorials and figures from some authors. From the very first moment i thought that this was a great thing an participated ithout hesitations. They are on-line a few time but they have several artist and some tutorials which are very interesting and the number of them are increasing. There is a forum too. Take a look to that web because in my opinion it will be very imprtant in a near future!

Medico hobbit / Hobbit doctor

Aunque hace un par de meses, dos meses ya..., que pinté esta pieza, aun no la había puesto aquí en el blog y ya es hora de remediarlo. La figura es el Hobbit de la marca Heroes & Villains y es una gozada, para mi el sucesor del clásico Yarri de Enigma. Esta figura ha resultado ser un proyecto muy personal, ya que, desde que se vieron las fotos del original, note un gran parecido a mi medico de cabecera, quien es un magnifico profesional y nos ha ayudado en muchos problemas de salud. Por lo que, obviamente, me sirve de homenaje. Hay multitud de detalles que están referidos a el. El terreno ha sido enteramente realizado a scratch. La figura la he pintado con acrílicos. ¡Espero que os guste!

A couple of months ago i've painted that figure, but I didn't put it in the blog and now its the tim to fix it. The miniature is the Hobbit from Heroes & Villains and it is a truly awesome model, form my taste the sucessor for Enigma's Yarri. The figue is a personal project because as i had seen in the original it has a great semblance to my family doctor, wo is a great professional and has helped us in so many times. Then it has been a tribute to him. There are so many details which are related to him. The terrain has been done entirely in scratch and the figure has been painted in acrylics. Hope you like it!
